Szumski Saint Archangel Michael Church and Monastery

The ensemble of Saint Archangel Michael Church and Monastery was built in 18^th century, its construction lasted for 20 years. In the beginning of 19^th century, the French army raided the church and the monastery. A bit later, during the reign of the Czar, the church was made in to an Orthodox temple and the monastery closed. Only during the World War I the church was returned to the Catholics. Every year, youth gather in the territory of the church and monastery.
