Old folk songs have deep meaning and wisdom. They tell about everyday situations, sometimes humorous, sometimes sad. Nowadays, not many have heard them, unless they are sung buy folk ensembles or still living ancestors. In 1981, in Buivydžiai, an ensemble “Helenki” was established, which sang traditional songs from the environs of Buivydžiai.
