The written sources mentioned Mickūnai in 15th century. In 1818-1824, Mickūnai Manor belonged to the Vilnius University Professor August Ludwik Becu – the stepfather of known Polish poet Juliusz Słowacki. In 1825, Becu family participated in the church construction festivities. After one year, Juliusz Słowacki participated in the consecration of the church.
