Funeral traditions

In the past, all of the village participated in the funeral; the body of the deceased lied in the largest room of the house; during the night, the closest persons of the deceased kept watch near his/her body. If there was a possibility, people tried to take a photograph with the deceased. During the funeral, all of the people, who arrived to say farewell with the deceased, were offered drinks and food. After the burial, all of the people, who arrived to the funeral, were invited in to the funeral repasts.
