Festival “Kwiaty Polskie”

The first festival “Kwiaty Polskie” happened in the Spring of 1989. The founder of the festival Jan Mincevič (1938-2016) was a public figure, collector of folklore and creator of songs about Vilnius region. The purpose of the festival is to unite various age ensembles. During performance, ensembles present their repertoire; choirs sing well-known songs of the Vilnius region. Ensembles from various countries numerous times visited the festival.
