Cemetery of The Home Army soldiers

The Home Army soldier’s cemetery of Skurbutėnai is a place, wherein the Home Army soldiers, who died in Vilnius region while battling against the German occupiers, are honored. War veterans, while cooperating with Vilnius technology, business and agriculture school students, tidied-up the graves and in 1991 the cemetery was consecrated. The legend says that bleeding corpses of soldiers were laid down in Skurbutėnai Chapel and blood stain has not disappeared since.
