Dūkštos Oakwood

Dūkštos Oakwood is one of the largest oakwood in Lithuania. Rare animals live in naturally formed oakwood – bats, edible dormouse, hogs, European green woodpecker and others. A couple of dozen sculptures made by folk masters were erected in the oakwood depicting Lithuanian folk legends, mythological characters and pantheons of pagan gods.
