Bradeliškiai hillfort

Bradeliškiai hillfort is one of the largest in Neris regional park. It is thought, that once upon a time here stood a wooden castle, which was surrounded by natural obstacles – Dūkštos creek and artificial defensive elements: ditches and mounds. The hillfort rises to a height of 16 m, its length reaches 110 m and width – 60 m. Bradeliškiai hillfort was one of the most important defensive points between Vilnius and Kernavė.
