Karmazinai, Dūkštų seniūnija, Vilniaus rajono savivaldybė, Vilnius County, 14232, Lithuania

Karmazinai mound is one of the biggest remaining mounds – ~ 140 barrows remained in the area of 15 ha. Here, during 5-8th centuries, people were buried. Collars with flat nailed up ends, bracelets, rings and the only arch vaulted brooch in Eastern Lithuania were found in the graves. Axes, spear ends, knifes and a fragment of body shield were found inside male shrouds. After archaeological researches, the only three in Lithuania barrows were recreated here.
