Franciszek Bohuszewicz

19th century Belorussian poet born near Rukainiai, village of Savičiūnai. F. Bohuszewicz was a correspondent of a Polish newspaper being printed in Petersburg “Kraj”. In 1891, Krakow, the first volume of the poet was printed “Belorussian kazoo” and in Poznan the second volume “Belorussian bow”. F. Bohuszewicz exchanged letters with Eliza Orzeszkowa. The poet died in 1900 and was buried in Smarhon region, Belarus.
