Legend about the village of Forty Tartars

In the olden times, the “king” of Lithuania granted lands to the Tartars and allowed them more than one wife so that there would be more of them. One Tartar wed four wives and with each had ten sons. Those forty brothers established the village, which is now called Forty Tartars.
